Spit-Up, Pee and Poop. Those 3 things summed up Jackson's day. Jackson has been very "spit-uppy" the past few days. Nothing major but just far more than normal. So Wendy decided she was going to change Jackson's diaper after she fed him and Jax was ready and waiting with a lovely mess. While being so focused on getting him all cleaned up from his dirty diaper, Jax started to pee....well, it shot straight back and was hitting him in the forehead. Poor little guy. Wendy screamed and must have startled him because he immediately stopped going. So she cleans his face, goes back to wiping his bum and he starts peeing AGAIN! This time, it starts shooting all over everything, the changing table, the playard, the wall, EVERYTHING!! Needless to say it was quite comical as nothing like that has ever happened to her. Jackson got a nice bath following that ordeal!
Jackson got some new clothes today as I am preparing him already to move out of his 3 month clothes and into his 6 month clothes. Got him a few cute outfits from Kohl's and then I hit an "Outgrown Children's Sale" at a local church and got a few cute items. My big $5 splurge was this tan corduroy jacket from Old Navy that he can wear next winter. It is super cute and I am hoping it gets some good use next year!
I've been dealing with a scratchy throat today and at first I thought I was definitely getting sick. Well, this evening my nose started running and I started sneezing. Now, I'm starting to think it might be seasonal allergies. I just don't usually get them in the fall...at least I don't remember! Regardless, I hope it is allergies and that I'm not getting sick. EVERYONE has been sick and I really do not want to deal with that!
